Lead Quality Engineer (CNC / Wood / Joinery / Electronic) (BBBH272753) Stroud, England

Salary: GBP38,000 – GBP50,000 per annum. Additional benefits: 29 days holiday rising to 36 days, life insurance, company van at office.

Office based (Stroud & Stonehouse), commutable from Stroud, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stonehouse and surrounding areas.

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to take charge of quality processes and become the site champion, with an opportunity for technical progression.

In this role you will directly impact the quality systems, manage, improve and implement new systems with internal training, and will have scope for future progression.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and drive quality systems and processes.
• Further technical training and scope to progress to Senior Engineer.
• Work Monday to Friday from 8am to 4.30pm.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Quality Engineering.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, QMS, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, First Article Inspection, GD&T, Internal Audit, Process Improvement, Inspection, Manufacturing Quality, Quality Assurance, Document Control, SPC, Statistical Process Control.
