37.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 between 8am-8pm, weekend rota required.

Salary

£27,530-£29,302 + bonus + benefits.

Essential

  • A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Perform General Maintenance Tasks: basic joinery, plastering, plumbing, electrical repairs, and reactive maintenance.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Compliance: maintain a safe environment, monitor, respond promptly to safety-related calls, adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Deliver Excellent Customer Service: connect with students and colleagues, respond to maintenance requests and student feedback, provide support with a positive attitude.
  • Use Digital Tools and Procedures: log maintenance issues accurately using PDA apps, complete planned inspections, report remedial work to appropriate engineer.

Qualifications

  • Hold a valid UK driver’s licence – essential for traveling between sites.
  • Basic technical maintenance skills: joinery, plastering, basic domestic plumbing, and completing like‑for‑like electrical changes safely with proper documentation.
  • Knowledge and adherence to Health and Safety legislation.
  • Experience in general maintenance and customer‑facing roles.
  • Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
