WCB is seeking experienced and flexible Agency Support Workers to provide safe, consistent, child‑centred support for children and young people in residential homes. The homes support individuals who may have EBD, learning disabilities, autism, trauma‑related needs and challenging behaviours.
Pay rate: From £14.85 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay.
Responsibilities
- Support children and young people in residential homes.
- Promote routines, boundaries and positive relationships.
- Assist with daily living, activities and emotional wellbeing.
- Record daily notes, incidents and handovers accurately.
- Work as part of a team to keep children safe.
- Follow care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working with children and young people.
- Experience with EBD, autism, learning disabilities or challenging behaviour is desirable.
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply.
- Safeguarding knowledge.
- Reliable, flexible and professional.
- Driver’s licence preferred but not essential.
