Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self‑motivated LLDD Tutor to join Cumbria Adult Learning. Ideally you will have experience working in an adult education environment. The successful applicant will be highly skilled and have a real passion for inspiring and encouraging adults with learning difficulties and disabilities to maximise their potential.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Deliver a wide and extensive range of subjects to LLDD learners, such as independent living, literacy and numeracy, arts and crafts.
- Plan and deliver engaging and interesting courses and qualifications.
- Support, mentor and encourage adult learners with learning difficulties and disabilities.
- Collaborate with local organisations and deliver classes across Carlisle and the surrounding area.
- Maintain a flexible approach to meet the needs of local communities and potentially work in the Penrith area, subject to demand.
Experience in a teaching environment, a teaching qualification and experience of working with LLDD are essential for the role. A DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.
