Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist – Mindplace Dartford Crossways Business Park, Dartford, DA2 6QH
Working Hours & Schedule
Permanent, part‑time – minimum 2 days per week.

Sessions: Monday to Sunday. Two shift types:
- Early shift: 08:00‑16:00
- Late shift: 14:00‑22:00 (at least one late shift per week)
Each day will include 5 appointments.
Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (CBT) or brief interventions with excellent clinical outcomes.
- Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations that inform evidence‑based intervention.
- Determine the most appropriate pathway of care and support for the client.
- Offer different models of service delivery – face‑to‑face, telephone or video consultations – depending on client preference.
- Adhere to Bupa’s case‑management processes and collaborate with Clinical Leads and the wider therapy team.
- Respect sessional limits based on the client’s private medical insurance, while working toward therapeutic recovery goals.
- Signpost or refer clients appropriately, provide ad‑hoc or one‑off wellbeing support and coaching, and offer assessments and referral recommendations when required.
- Conduct group psycho‑education sessions, raise mental health awareness, and promote mental well‑being through remote presentations, workshops and training.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines and Bupa’s service policies and procedures.
- Attend regular individual and group clinical supervision to support practice, in line with BUPA and professional body guidelines.
- Collaborate with the operational and clinical teams to improve client and employee experiences.
Qualifications & Experience
- Full accreditation with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
- Post‑Graduate Diploma in CBT (CBT/High Intensity) accredited by BABCP.
- At least 2 years post‑qualification experience delivering high‑intensity CBT to clients with varied presentations.
- Training and accreditation in one or more additional specialised areas (e.g., EMDR) is desirable.
- Corporate experience and business understanding are advantageous.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Systems and electronic medical record systems.
- Ability to evaluate, plan and prioritise workload within demanding time scales.
- Experience in customer service and client liaison.
- Excellent application of clinical knowledge and presentation skills.
- Strong professional and personal drive, enthusiasm, self‑motivation and self‑sufficiency.
- Rapid and decisive response to client needs.
- Team player with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
- Experience managing own caseload, achieving targets and maintaining efficient diary management.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a busy, multi‑disciplinary environment.
- Understanding of and awareness of the business environment.
