Kitchen Manager – Slug & Lettuce Solihull

Salary & Contract

£34,500 per year – Permanent, Full‑time

Key Responsibilities

• Support, coach and mentor the kitchen team.
• Maintain high standards of food knowledge and skill.
• Ensure up-to‑date COSHH, Food Safety, H&S and legal compliance.
• Hire, onboard and train new team members.
• Develop kitchen staff and provide ongoing training opportunities.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
• Manage kitchen staffing schedule to meet labour targets.
• Conduct regular stock checks for cost management and performance goals.
• Drive sales and foster relationships between kitchen and front‑of‑house teams.

Qualifications

Relevant experience in kitchen management or team leadership. Essential skills include food safety knowledge, COSHH compliance, leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
