Responsibilities
- Assisting and running of modalities e.g. Ultrasound & CT.
- Laying sterile trolleys for drains & biopsies.
- Observing patients during non‑invasive & invasive procedures.
- Assisting radiologists with diagnostic procedures.
- Supporting nursing staff in ultrasound and CT with interventional procedures.
- Working alongside nurses, radiographers, radiologists and administration personnel.
Qualifications & Experience
- Good communication skills.
- Literate, articulate and numerate.
- Secondary school education.
- Experience in the NHS.
- Understanding of the roles of nursing, radiography, ancillary and other staff.
- Computer literate (desirable).
Training & Development
Radiology experience is not essential; you will receive a very high standard competency training package, supporting professional development in a variety of modalities.
