Faculty of Health and Social Care, Central Faculty – Health and Social Care

Salary: £27,644 to £29,959 per annum pro rata (Fixed Term Until 31/07/2027)

What You Will Be Doing

  • Supporting delivery of an NIHR-funded research project evaluating Creating Active Schools.
  • Supporting organisation and coordination of school-based data collection activities across primary schools in Bradford and Yorkshire.
  • Preparing, transporting and maintaining research equipment and fieldwork materials.
  • Supporting collection of physical activity and health data, including accelerometry and measurement activities.
  • Assisting with questionnaires, data management and research administration processes.
  • Supporting engagement with schools and project stakeholders.
  • Working alongside research staff and supporting hourly paid technical staff involved in fieldwork.
  • Contributing to safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of field-based research activities.

Essential Qualifications / Experience

  • GCSE English and Mathematics (Grade 4–7/A–C) or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting technical, operational or research activities.
  • Experience organising activities, resources or equipment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and data management processes.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
