Responsibilities

We’re recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join our team, covering Cardiff and the surrounding areas.

You’ll spend your day installing, servicing and repairing our stairlifts in customers’ homes.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8:00 am–4:30 pm; Friday 8:00 am–3:30 pm.

Additional work: a 1‑in‑4 on‑call rota for evenings and weekends (paid if called out). In addition, overtime opportunities are available.

A full, clean UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a hands‑on, practical role with confidence using tools and working in customers’ environments.
  • Exposure to electrical work, joinery, mechanical tasks or installation‑based work (advantageous but not essential).
  • Full training will be provided.
  • Strong work ethic, drive to succeed, and motivation to maximise performance and earnings.
  • Ability to manage own time effectively, plan day and work independently.
  • Customer‑focused approach with good communication skills and professional manner.
  • Confidence working alone while also being part of a wider team.
  • Flexible attitude, willingness to work overtime and take part in an on‑call rota.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Local or regional geographic awareness.
