The Governors of the school are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to support learning across the school, primarily in Key Stage 2. The TA will provide pastoral and academic support to learners and work collaboratively with the team.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
We require a Teaching Assistant who:
- Is an experienced practitioner, passionate about providing the best support and reducing barriers for all pupils
- Values a teamwork approach and is flexible
- Has high expectations of all pupils
- Is committed to raising pupils’ achievements in learning and social and emotional skills
- Has the ability to form positive adult‑pupil relationships
- Will be supportive of the Christian values of the school and create a safe, inclusive, welcoming environment for pupils and families
- Will commit to building relationships with parents, carers and the wider community
- Has an open mind to adapt to new approaches
