Clinical Services Manager – Theatre

The Saxon Clinic in Milton Keynes is part of Circle Health Group. This full‑time, permanent role requires 37.5 hours per week and covers a flexible shift pattern.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the theatre team in delivering outstanding patient care across all peri‑operative stages, including anaesthetics, surgery and recovery.
  • Foster a culture of compassion and respect through effective team engagement, communication and support.
  • Support clinical development and maintain personal competence through continuous professional development and reflection.
  • Ensure patient safety is prioritised at all times, advocating and speaking up on any concerns regarding care or safeguarding.
  • Drive clinical standards through evidence‑based practice, clinical audits and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Lead by example in maintaining infection control, documentation standards and compliance with governance frameworks.

Qualifications

  • NMC or HCPC registered practitioner with peri‑operative leadership experience.
  • Strong background in anaesthetics, scrub or recovery within theatre settings.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence, coach and develop others.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with knowledge of labour management and workforce efficiency tools.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving and clinical decision‑making abilities.
  • Experience managing theatre services within private healthcare or NHS environments.
  • Understanding of financial planning, budgeting and business development in a clinical setting.
  • Experience with theatre scheduling software and electronic patient record systems.
  • Evidence of continued professional development in leadership, quality improvement or advanced peri‑operative care.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: Up to £68,000 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification).
