HVAC Application Engineer

£35,000 – £40,000 basic salary + technical progression + management opportunities + package + benefits.

An excellent opportunity for an experienced applications engineer to join a well‑established market‑leading OEM that is expanding its sales team. This role includes selling the company’s products and services while managing the pre‑sales team, with scope to step up into a team‑lead role while progressing technically. The company is a multi‑billion‑pound manufacturer that supplies and manufactures critical systems for a variety of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting the sales team at all times
• Managing and delegating work appropriately within the pre‑sales applications team
• Planning quotes and tenders, while also compiling cost sheets
• Providing technical support to customers and your team

Background required

• Experience as an applications engineer or pre‑sales engineer
• Knowledge of HVAC systems (Chillers/AHU/Humidifiers)
• Willingness to learn and progress technically
• Good customer service skills
