Pay: Competitive daily rate via Connex Education Partnership – Subject to experience and qualification.

About the role

Connex Education is proud to be working exclusively with a respected Multi Academy Trust, supporting a range of secondary schools in the MAT across Sheffield.

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic secondary school teachers of any subject to join one of the multi‑academy schools starting from September 2026. Some of the roles we currently have are part‑time and some full time.

As a secondary teacher, you will be pivotal in creating and delivering engaging learning experiences that help students blossom academically, socially and emotionally.

You will deliver engaging, curriculum‑led lessons, maintain a positive and structured learning environment, and support pupils’ academic and social development.

Assignment details

Full‑time classroom teaching responsibility for your subject.

Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.

Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to support pupil progress and wellbeing.

Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement and personal development.

Person specification

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience working within a UK secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to deliver engaging, age‑appropriate lessons.
  • Knowledge of the secondary national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Be committed to delivering high‑quality teaching and learning.
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
