Overview
We are looking for multiple Lift Service Engineers to cover routes within our Scotland Region. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a well‑established company that values expertise, innovation and customer satisfaction.
Main Duties
- Perform routine servicing, respond to call‑outs and carry out minor repairs on all types of electrical and hydraulic goods, passenger and service lifts within your designated service route area.
- Complete maintenance schedules efficiently and in alignment with agreed Service Contracts, ensuring all tasks are performed to a high standard.
- Use company and customer systems to complete worksheets accurately, maintaining clear and organised records of all work undertaken.
- Participate in the out‑of‑hours on‑call rota, providing vital support and ensuring customer needs are met promptly.
- Adhere to best practices in Health and Safety at all times, ensuring both personal and workplace safety while meeting regulatory standards.
Person Specification
- Hold an SVQ 3 (or equivalent) qualification in lift maintenance, showcasing your technical expertise and professional competency.
- Be self‑motivated with excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a high standard of workmanship and professionalism while working independently.
- Possess a valid driving licence, enabling travel across customer sites and route areas as required.
- Willing to undergo DBS checks due to the sensitive nature of some customer sites.
- Confidently use handheld devices and interact with customer portals for real‑time reporting, ensuring accurate and efficient communication.
- Display a strong willingness to work as part of a team, including participation in the call‑out rota to provide comprehensive coverage.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and customers.
