Permanent, Full-time, Monday – Friday 39 hours

Job Description
We are looking for a Stores or Packing Operative to join our manufacturing facility. The role involves receiving components, checking deliveries, packaging and dispatching finished goods, following procedures, and supporting continuous improvement and 5S initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick parts for production.
- Efficiently and carefully pack/consolidate orders for production.
- Prepare finished goods for dispatch, including packing, preparing paperwork and loading goods vehicles.
- Follow detailed and defined procedures and work instructions, making simple judgement calls in straightforward situations.
- Support continuous improvement techniques/initiatives within the Stores area.
- Support and maintain an effective 5S policy within work areas.
Qualifications
- Good understanding of Stock Inventory principles and Health and Safety practices.
- Ability to work in a cohesive motivated team.
- Good IT skills; experience with Google Suite is an advantage.
- Disciplined and organised approach to tasks with the ability to prioritise.
- Self‑motivating, conscientious and organised.
- Good team building, motivated, enthusiastic skill set.
- Flexible and innovative approach to problem solving.
- Manual handling training would be a benefit; training will be provided.
- Clean UK driving licence is desirable.
- Forklift licence would be an advantage.
