Gaia Data Validation Scientist – 2-Year Fixed Term

University of Cambridge is seeking a data scientist in the Gaia project within the Institute of Astronomy (IoA). The role focuses on validating Gaia data products, investigating features in the data, and developing updates to Gaia code.

It is a fixed-term post for 2 years with Grade 7 salary. The successful candidate will contribute to a major space observatory project, collaborating within the Gaia team and across the data project group at IoA.
