Location: Elswick, Newcastle upon Tyne
Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 4pm-6pm
2 hours on a Saturday and Sunday school holidays but willing to be flexible
Rate of pay: £13.50 per hour
Driving licence required
Experience of young people with ASD and ADHD required
We are looking for a kind and caring individual to support our son. Our son is 13 years old and loves gadgets and technology in general, he loves car journey and is very fond of a hot chocolate.
You would support with activities and household tasks in the home; a key part of this role would be to support and encourage social interactions and experiences outside of the home. You would need to always ensure the safety and wellbeing of our son. He loves cars, journeys, hot chocolate and would love trips.
Advice and guidance regarding behaviour management strategies is available for you.
Knowledge of ASD and learning difficulties would be an advantage.
Driver required – mileage will be paid at 45p per mile.
