HGV Class 2 Driver | Petersfield

We are recruiting for a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join a close-knit municipal team in Petersfield. Working as part of a 3 to 5 person crew, you will be the lead driver responsible for completing collection rounds across Petersfield and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent, weekday work with great earning potential and an early finish.
Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: £17.88 per hour
- Overtime Rate: £26.82 per hour
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 06:30am to 03:00pm
- Job Finish Bonus: Once your team’s daily duties are complete, you are free to head home while still being paid for the full day.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and manoeuvring HGV Class 2 refuse vehicles safely.
- Navigating established routes and stop-off points efficiently.
- Working collaboratively with your crew, assisting with collections where necessary.
- Reporting any vehicle incidents, defects, or operational damages to the supervisor.
What We Need From You
- A valid HGV Class 2 Licence.
- Digital Tacho Card & CPC.
- A maximum of 6 points on your licence (for insurance purposes).
- Your own safety footwear.
