Accounts Assistant
Location: AscotSalary: CompetitiveHours: Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm with 1 hour lunch
My client based in Ascot is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable experience to join a global organisation.
The successful candidate will support the Accounting Manager across a variety of finance functions and will be highly organised, proactive and able to work accurately in a busy environment.
Daily Duties
- Processing purchase invoices and employee expenses
- Handling supplier invoice and payment queries
- Preparing mid-month and month-end payments
- Maintaining the Fixed Assets Register and bank reconciliations
- Processing daily bank transactions and sales invoices
- Maintaining supplier accounts and preparing customer/supplier statements
- Supporting Accounts Receivable and Order Processing duties when required
- Assisting with month-end processes and journal postings
- Managing supplier onboarding and raising purchase orders
- Ensuring accurate financial records are maintained at all times
Person Specification
- Previous Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable experience
- Strong IT skills including Excel and ideally Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to multitask, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Positive, proactive and a strong team player
- Professional and able to maintain confidentiality at all times
