PMO Consultant

Responsibilities

• Support delivery across important projects that contribute to national security and resilience.
• Join a collaborative PMO community working alongside delivery, technical, commercial and transformation specialists.
• Apply your existing PMO experience in a challenging and rewarding client environment.
• Work in client-facing delivery environments where structure, insight and reliable controls matter.
• Support PMO activities through to leading defined workstreams or small teams where appropriate.
• Manage risks and issues, support planning and scheduling, contribute to financial tracking, or help improve delivery controls and assurance.

Requirements

• Relevant PMO, project delivery or project coordination experience.
• Experience supporting or leading PMO activities such as reporting, governance, planning, controls, assurance, finance, benefits, change or risk management.
• Broad PMO generalist capability or deeper specialism in one or more PMO disciplines.
• The ability to work with data and tools such as Excel, Power BI, MS Project or similar to support effective decision‑making.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with project teams, stakeholders and clients in a structured and professional way.
• An understanding of PMO frameworks, delivery lifecycles and the importance of robust controls in complex environments.
• A proactive and collaborative approach, with the judgement and professionalism to operate effectively in a client‑facing delivery environment.
