As a Revenues Officer, you will assist in the day to day activities concerning Council Tax, Business Rates, Housing Benefit overpayment billing, collection and recovery. You will constantly challenge the way we do things, supporting change through innovation and new solutions to ensure continuous service improvement.
We are looking for a team player who is highly organised and self‑motivated, with a professional manner and effective communication skills to work in the Revenues and Benefits Service as part of the Revenues Team.
Responsibilities
Assist in daily Council Tax, Business Rates, Housing Benefit overpayment billing, collection and recovery, challenge the status quo and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
5 GCSEs at grade C and above, including Maths and English; significant experience of council tax and/or business rates collection; experience of using Academy Revenues software is an advantage but not essential.
