Linux Engineer

Salary: £45,000 – 70,000 per year

Requirements

• Linux systems administration experience
• Experience supporting large-scale, high-availability environments
• VMware experience
• Experience with Docker, Podman, or other container technologies
• Strong operational support and troubleshooting experience
• Security-focused approach to platform management
• Bash scripting experience
• SQL experience
• Experience with Kafka, Cassandra, or Hazelcast
• Experience with monitoring tools such as CheckMK or Selenium
• IP networking and RADIUS experience
• Experience with SIEM tools

• Support and enhance a large-scale, high-availability customer platform
• Work within our Agile operations team
• Perform Linux administration
• Carry out platform maintenance
• Manage patching and deployments
• Handle capacity management
• Resolve incidents
• Support the evolution of a next-generation platform
