£14.24 – £14.50 per hour (salary depends on experience/qualifications).

The Role
We’re looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our partner schools in Eastbourne. You will work closely with children who have speech, language and communication needs, providing 1:1 support and small group assistance. You will support in the classroom, create a calm environment in quieter areas of the school, and help children engage with daily routines. You will empower pupils to access their learning, build confidence, and feel included in school life.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate individual with experience supporting children or adults with additional needs.
- Level 3 TA Qualification (Desirable but not essential)
- Valid driving license with access to own vehicle (ESSENTIAL)
- Previous paid experience in child-based work
- Experience working with children who have SEN
- Have, or pay for an Enhanced DBS check and register on the Update Service
- Be available to work during school times
- Experience working in UK Schools (Desirable but not essential)
