Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Public Cloud

Responsibilities

• Help shape the cloud foundations that enable the organization to operate securely, scale efficiently and innovate responsibly
• Design, build and optimize GCP infrastructure using a wide range of cloud services
• Deliver Infrastructure‑as‑Code through Terraform and modular design patterns
• Develop automation using tools such as Python, Bash or Groovy
• Evolve the CI/CD ecosystem across technologies such as Jenkins, Harness and GitHub
• Work with Kubernetes (GKE) and modern deployment approaches to support scalable, resilient platforms
• Work closely with Infrastructure, Systems, Architecture and Software Engineering teams to deliver secure, automated and high‑quality cloud solutions
• Contribute to engineering quality through code reviews, design input and full lifecycle ownership
• Help guide and support more junior team members
• Participate in an on‑call support rota and occasional out‑of‑hours work

Requirements

• Strong hands‑on experience with GCP services across a broad range
• Advanced experience with Terraform and IaC
• Proficiency in automation scripting (Python, Bash, Groovy)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Harness and GitHub
• Experience managing environments using GKE or similar Kubernetes deployments
• Ability to work across engineering domains with excellent communication and collaboration
• Google Cloud Professional certifications would be great
• Experience writing security guardrails (Sentinel or similar)
• Experience with monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace or Cloud Monitoring
• Strong creativity, adaptability and a continuous‑learning mindset.
