As we continue to elevate our capabilities and global presence, we are seeking a PMO Lead to join our dynamic PMO team at our state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility in Hethel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for Project Management of small and medium sized programmes, including the generation and management of multiple vehicle and external project plans. The role involves overall timing, cost, and quality metrics, reporting to the Programme and senior teams with KPIs, risk, issues, maintaining momentum, and achieving delivery of the programme. The ideal candidate will also build and manage project health tracking systems and support multiple projects, engaging with other departments and Project Managers to capture inputs to support gateways and milestone packs.
Responsibilities
- Project Management of small and medium sized projects from KO (Kick Off) through to FSR (Final Status Report).
- Expertise in MSP to capture and track project expenditures against targets, leading the MSP and expenditures, and continuously improving tracking efficiency.
- Monitor and report the aligned financial status of the project, generating metrics for review at project meetings and senior reviews.
- Project monitoring and reporting of progress against the plan, inclusive of mitigation activities; lead risk management aspects.
- Lead launch build phases, ensuring robustness of KPIs with stakeholders.
- Hands‑on lead during builds on the shopfloor.
- Lead LCL Strategic Alliance responsibilities.
- Lead data analysis for multiple projects.
- Manage multiple project plans and report statuses to the management team.
- Generate financial metrics for project investment/budget, monitor and report the aligned financial status, and produce metrics for review at project and senior meetings.
- Identify and solve concerns related to programme delivery from scoping to execution.
- Prepare build phases, create and implement mitigation plans, ensuring a capable and successful launch during all build phases.
- Identify and resolve/escalate issues preventing a go/no‑go decision into business‑level milestones.
- Drive continuous improvements for LPDS, growing central documentation and processes across the business to standardise our way of working in line with Lotus Tech.
- Collaborate across internal and external programme teams to support delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience managing teams, business processes, documentation, and similar projects with an engineering degree or relevant qualification/ applied experience.
- Programme management skills delivered within an engineering & manufacturing environment.
- Manufacturing/operation environment experience.
- Analytical, methodical, and team‑focused approach.
- Ability to lead large cross‑functional groups to achieve project goals.
- Experience with engineering or programme management of automotive components and systems.
- Thorough attention to detail.
