We’re looking for a motivated Data Installation Engineer(s) to join our growing team at Hutchison Technologies. Whether you’re based in Sheffield or elsewhere in the UK, you’ll install, test, and maintain the structured cabling and data infrastructure that connects our sites across the UK and Europe, helping us keep our networks reliable, secure, and ready to support the business.

We’re open to a single Sheffield‑based hire or two engineers working as a dedicated team from the same location anywhere in the UK.
Role Overview
As a Data Installation Engineer at Hutchison Technologies, you will be responsible for installing, terminating, testing, and maintaining structured cabling and network infrastructure that supports the business and our customers. You’ll work closely with internal teams and site contacts to ensure installations are completed to a high standard, on time, and to spec, and collaborate closely with your engineering partner to share knowledge, maintain standards, and deliver at pace.
Travel Requirement
This role is UK‑based, with regular travel required across the UK and some EU travel required. Candidates should be comfortable with a flexible travel schedule and able to travel for business purposes to EU countries without requiring a visa for short stays. A full UK driving licence is essential.
