Salary: £33,344 – £37,817

Hourly Rate: £17.28 – £19.60 (pro‑rated if part‑time)
Hours per week: 14 hours 48 minutes
Role and Responsibilities
The role is part of the Additional Learning Needs Team within Education and Children’s Services, supporting learners in Early Years. Responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the Inclusion Department, schools, settings, and third‑sector organisations to support effective transition planning and provision.
- Promoting a person‑centred approach, ensuring learner aspirations and outcomes are central to planning and decision‑making.
- Guiding and supporting practitioners to develop their understanding of Early Years and to provide appropriate, meaningful progression opportunities for learners with Additional Learning Needs.
- Collaborating with families and partner agencies to secure positive outcomes for young people.
Qualifications and Experience
- NVQ Level 4 or equivalent, with appropriate ICT skills.
- Strong understanding of the needs of learners with ALN in Early Years, including knowledge of education, training, and employment pathways.
- Commitment, resilience, and determination to secure positive outcomes for young people.
Other Requirements
- Enhanced DBS with barred list disclosure and barring service check.
- Welsh language level 3 – conversational Welsh.
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
