Grade C: £25,948.96 per annum, pro rata (pay award pending)

Permanent, 22.2 hours per week (Monday-Wednesday)

About the role

We are seeking a Development Support Assistant to join our established and supportive Economic Development and Planning Service at Stafford Borough Council.

You’ll be working with customers to provide support on end-to-end processes for planning applications.

Whether your expertise is in organisation or customer service, you’ll be contributing to an ambitious agenda as we move our council through the evolving local government landscape.

About you

You will be:

  • Enthusiastic, interested in planning and willing to learn
  • Used to taking a flexible approach to changing priorities and be able to adapt quickly to change
  • A good communicator, able to build strong working relationships and provide a high quality of customer service
  • Experienced in effectively managing your own workload
  • A confident user of all Microsoft office applications
  • It is essential that you have GCSEs in Maths and English Language
