Facilities Operative (Soft FM)

Renfrewshire Council is looking to recruit enthusiastic and skilled Facilities Operatives who can demonstrate the necessary skills and experience to deliver a high quality, modern Soft Facilities Management service in schools across Renfrewshire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Soft FM service at site level, including building cleaning; catering; school crossing patrol; security; and other related services.
• Maintain a flexible approach to working hours; work in a customer-focused environment; be willing and enthusiastic to work as part of a team.
• Desirable: previous Soft FM experience in a similar environment and willingness to undertake training.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues; have literacy, numeracy and IT skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office is desirable.
• Possess REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate or be willing to work towards REHIS Elementary Food Safety Certificate.
• Disclosure Scotland check will be required if successful; the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.

Qualifications

• Literacy, numeracy and IT skills; willingness to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues; basic Microsoft Office knowledge is desirable.
• REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to obtain REHIS Elementary Food Safety Certificate.
• Willingness to undergo a Disclosure Scotland check as required.

Details

Term Time. 10 hours per week. Monday – Friday 12:00 – 14:00

Salary: GBP 12000 – 15000 per year
