Job Summary
Hours: 35 hours per week, Permanent Monday – Thursday 8.45am – 4.45pm, Friday 8.45am – 4.15pm. Salary: £25,183 – £28,358 per year.
We are looking for a highly organised Clerical Assistant to join the Assets and Estates Team within Property Services.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of clerical and admin duties, including updating and maintaining data on the Council’s Civica Debtors System.
- Raise and maintain orders and requests for payments in the Council’s Oracle Fusion system.
- Keep the Council’s property management systems accurate and up to date.
- Organise and prioritise workload, respond calmly to changing demands, and support wider team goals and projects.
- Use a range of IT systems and software and maintain a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Qualifications
- Experience or skills in clerical/admin work.
- Proficiency with IT systems and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to handle changing demands calmly and support team goals.
- If born outside the UK or have lived or worked outside the UK for a continuous period of three months in the past 10 years, applicants are required to provide an Overseas Criminal Records Check that is translated into English and includes an official statement confirming no pending criminal record proceedings.
