The role of Retail Security Officer:

• Providing a visible uniformed deterrent, contributing to the safety and security of the client’s premises and staff
• Carrying out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensuring the safety of staff and visitors
• Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
• Observing and reporting incidents using the correct reporting systems
• Carrying out all duties assigned by the client or manager
• Ensuring site knowledge is kept up to date and local developments are identified
• Understanding and implementing Fire and Safety evacuation procedures
• Assisting with staff and contractor searches if required by the client
• Ensuring the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
• Conducting yourself in a manner that brings credit to yourself and the Company, wearing full uniform with SIA licence clearly displayed

The ideal Retail Security Officer:

• SG or DS SIA licence required
• Aged 18 or over
• Confident communicator and team player
• Great communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable with digital and paperless admin systems
• Drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times
