Responsibilities
Operating as part of the transport team at the Banbury Depot, you will provide a first‑class, on‑time, friendly delivery service between depots. You will comply with all driving legislation required for operating an LGV vehicle, Health and Safety procedures, and food safety and chilled chain standards. You must maintain your vehicle’s safety and cleanliness, complete safety checks, fill defect books, and ensure correct paperwork accompanies the correct load (e.g., trunk manifest, back‑haul paperwork). You will cooperate with the driver debrief procedure and may undertake additional duties such as multi‑drop deliveries, yard duties, and shunting.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Current LGV Class 1 driving licence.
- Ability to work 48 hours per week, including Saturdays and public holidays; overtime available.
- Works before 6:15am or after 9:45pm, or in warehouse, beer, wine, spirits, or driving roles, must be over 18.
- Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply.
