Teacher in Conservation – School of History, Archaeology and Religion

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teacher in Conservation to join the School of History, Archaeology and Religion. As a member of the teaching team, the role will involve designing, coordinating, supervising and delivering units of teaching (including full modules) and assessment for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, as well as undertaking required academic and teaching‑related administrative duties. The role also includes a significant academic administrative/management role within the relevant section or other appropriate managerial activities. An academic line manager will be assigned and mentor support available.

Responsibilities

  • Design, coordinate, supervise and deliver units of teaching and assessment for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
  • Carry out required academic and teaching‑related administrative duties in relation to the delivery of programmes.
  • Lead significant academic administrative and management activities within the relevant section of the school or unit.
  • Work under the guidance of an academic line manager and benefit from mentor support.

Employment

Full‑time (35 hours per week), fixed‑term until 31 July 2027, immediately available.

Salary
