Full Stack Software Engineer | Bristol | Hybrid | £55,000-£70,000
SR2 are supporting a technology organisation in Bristol that is continuing to grow its engineering team and is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join one of its established product squads.
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative environment where engineers are trusted to take ownership, contribute to technical decisions and work closely with Product and Design teams to deliver software used by a large customer base. The engineering function is well established, invests heavily in modern development practices and places a strong emphasis on continuous improvement.
You will be working across both frontend and backend development, building new features, enhancing existing products and helping to shape the future direction of the platform. The team works with React on the frontend and Java/Spring Boot on the backend, following modern engineering practices including automated testing, CI/CD and Agile delivery.
We’re keen to speak with engineers who have:
- Commercial experience working across the full stack
- Experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Experience building APIs and scalable applications
- An appreciation for clean code, testing and engineering best practices
- A collaborative approach and desire to continue learning and developing
