Responsibilities:
- Research – into potential lenders, potential equity providers, sectors of clients, competitors, assets/liabilities, potential clients, deal origination opportunities.
- Financial Analysis – Review of financial information provided by clients to help consider restructuring, M&A and/or debt options.
- Preparation of Information Memorandums and Teasers about clients, again to help solicit interest from investors/funders or buyers.
- Review and analysis to prepare reports – Independent Business Reviews, Options Reviews, Corporate Restructuring Recommendations.
- Building Integrated Financial Models – P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow.
- Potential secondments/flexible support to clients to help with cash management, cashflow forecasting, project management, helping improve/structure management reporting/KPIs.
- Liaising with clients/funders/investors to answer questions and prepare information.
- Management of sale process/debt process – speaking with client, speaking with buyers/investors/lawyers, helping to manage transaction/due diligence and documentation.
- Marketing of our services to help win new clients.
- Preparation of training materials for potential work providers (often banks and other funders).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- Internationally recognized accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA).
- Big 4 or global B‑tier firm distressed advisory experience preferred (with experience on large/international assignments).
- Superior communication acumen and well‑developed analytical skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a potentially high pressure, client driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities.
- Experience working with diverse teams.
