Junior Buyer

Overview

As a Junior Buyer, your mission is to support a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, manage purchasing activities and contribute to a world‑class Procurement function. You will be agile, resilient, and driven, ensuring continuity of supply while developing your procurement expertise.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders using ERP/MRP systems
• Expedite deliveries and manage supplier performance
• Support RFQs and cost‑reduction initiative
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers
• Identify risks and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience, working in purchasing/supply chain and ideally with ERP/MRP and Excel proficiency
• Interest in CIPS qualification
• Exposure to manufacturing (desirable)
• Experience or interest in AI tools for analysis/automation
• Agile and resilient mindset
• Strong communication skills
• Highly organised with attention to detail
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Team player with drive to develop

Location

Hybrid. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on‑site at our (insert organization here) in Deeside, United Kingdom (GB).
