Senior Care Assistant – £14.56 per hour plus company benefits. Full Time, Day Shifts.

Location

Lakeview Grange, a 55‑bed residential and dementia care home in Chichester, West Sussex.

Role Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and reliable Senior Care Assistant to be part of our care team, looking after our residential and dementia residents. Our team members must have a real passion for care and want to work as part of a close‑knit team supporting each other, promoting choice, individuality and independence for our residents at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support and care to residents, promoting choice, individuality and independence.
• Supervise and mentor care assistants.
• Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with care legislation and CQC Fundamental Standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent qualification).
• Knowledge of care legislation including CQC Fundamental Standards.
• Medication administration qualification.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience working with older people and people who experience dementia.
• Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant desirable.
