Responsibilities

The role provides a grounds maintenance service on all Derby City Council land, properties and contracts as determined by the service. The purpose of the role is to carry out tractor operations as required and undertake general and skilled horticultural / sports grounds / constructional work as defined by management.

Qualifications

  • Full manual car driving licence (expected to drive vehicles up to 3.5 tonne vehicles).
  • Substantial experience in occupational tractor driving and use of implements.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety & Equality Act 2010.
  • Reliable, pride in work, committed to teamwork, customer satisfaction, upholds Health and Safety regulations.
  • CE Heavy goods driver qualification will be required during probation (not essential).
