Job Title: Senior Software Developer
Location: HM Naval Base, Portsmouth (HMNBP)

Salary: £50,000 to £57,000
What you will do
You’ll be responsible for designing, building and maintaining the bespoke software and codebases that underpin digital solutions, focusing on advanced C# / .NET development, code quality and the technical mentoring of other developers.
- Designing, developing and maintaining C# / .NET applications, services and integrations across our codebases.
- Ongoing maintenance, refactoring and improvement of our existing codebases to keep them secure and supportable.
- Development and maintenance of C# plugins, custom connectors and server‑side customisations on the Power Platform.
- Creation and maintenance of customisations including plugins, PCFs and JavaScript web resources.
- Code reviews, coding standards and technical documentation.
What you will bring
- Experience developing applications in C# and the .NET framework / .NET.
- An appreciation for clean code, testing and software design best practice.
