About the Role
We are recruiting for a Casual Minibus Driver to be based at East Midlands Airport. You will be transporting flight crew to and from the base and aircraft. You do not need a PVC licence for this position and hours are flexible to meet business needs.
Category D1 licence. If you passed your car test before January 1, 1997, you may already have this entitlement. This is a casual position.
You will be working 12-hour shifts on a casual basis, both days and nights. Guaranteed shifts are available each month.
Shift Schedule
- Day shift: 5am to 5pm
- Night shift: 5pm to 5am (typical shifts)
Main Duties
- Safely transport flight crew to and from the base and aircraft.
- Load crew bags into the vehicle.
- Ensure vehicles are in good working condition and kept clean.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and keep records.
What You’ll Need
- Full UK/EU driving licence.
- 5 year checkable work history to obtain an airside pass.
Ideal Candidate Requirements
- Right to work in the UK.
- Pass pre‑employment screening, including 5 years of employee reference checking.
- Valid UK driver’s licence held for a minimum of 3 years.
- Ability to communicate with people and colleagues at all levels.
- Previous experience driving at an airport is desirable.
