The Chislehurst 15-bed service provides specialist residential rehabilitation for adults with an acquired brain injury or long‑term neurological conditions.
Work Hours
42 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
This is a Nurse qualified role.
Responsibilities
- Lead and line‑manage staff across all areas, as the named lead for quality and governance.
- Provide visible clinical leadership and influence service development to ensure continuous improvement in quality of care.
- Ensure residents receive safe, responsive, compassionate, caring and well‑led care.
- Promote a culture of openness and person‑centred care, learning from incidents within a high‑performing service.
- Balance the philosophy of care with a passion for coordinating and leading patient safety.
- Continually improve quality across the service, embedding it as a day‑to‑day responsibility of all staff.
- Lead the governance agenda on behalf of the Registered Manager to ensure compliance with external and corporate quality agendas and regulators, including the Care Quality Commission and ICB Commissioners.
- Provide highly credible, visible clinical leadership within the MDT and ensure that quality of care is delivered to the highest, evidence‑based standards.
- Ensure the highest possible standards of infection control and cleanliness in all areas.

- A current NMC Pin number (RGN).
