Clinical Lead

We’d like you to join us as a Clinical Lead – RGN at our Chislehurst service. The Chislehurst 15-bed service provides specialist residential rehabilitation for adults with an acquired brain injury or long‑term neurological conditions.

Work Hours

42 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

This is a Nurse qualified role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and line‑manage staff across all areas, as the named lead for quality and governance.
• Provide visible clinical leadership and influence service development to ensure continuous improvement in quality of care.
• Ensure residents receive safe, responsive, compassionate, caring and well‑led care.
• Promote a culture of openness and person‑centred care, learning from incidents within a high‑performing service.
• Balance the philosophy of care with a passion for coordinating and leading patient safety.
• Continually improve quality across the service, embedding it as a day‑to‑day responsibility of all staff.
• Lead the governance agenda on behalf of the Registered Manager to ensure compliance with external and corporate quality agendas and regulators, including the Care Quality Commission and ICB Commissioners.
• Provide highly credible, visible clinical leadership within the MDT and ensure that quality of care is delivered to the highest, evidence‑based standards.
• Ensure the highest possible standards of infection control and cleanliness in all areas.

Qualifications

• A current NMC Pin number (RGN).
