Chef de Partie (CDP)
We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join the team at King Street Townhouse Hotel. The role involves maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in all kitchen operations and delivering world‑class dining experiences.
Main Duties of the Role
- Run and supervise a kitchen section to the standards set by the Head Chef.
- Ensure all preparation in the designated section is completed and ready for each service.
- Practice good stock and waste control.
- Take responsibility for the quality control of stock and prepared foods.
- Execute cooking to an expected high standard quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the designated section.
- Support the head (sous) chef in delivering the required standard of food.
- Appropriately delegate jobs to junior chefs and apprentices and support their development.
- Maintain a positive, proactive attitude and seek to improve and advance skill set and performance.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations, the Staff Code of Conduct and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef and management.
- Ensure that all guests and non‑residents enjoy the best experience possible.
Requirements
- Able to work under pressure.
- Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment.
