Position Overview

Qualified Pharmacy Assistant – Cleator Moor (Job Ref: 11815) – 32 hour permanent contract.

We are looking to recruit a 32-hour Qualified Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at branch 510 located at Cleator Moor Health Centre, Cleator Moor, Birks Road, Cleator Moor, CA25 5HP.

Shift Pattern

The proposed shift pattern is:

• Tuesday 10:00 – 18:00 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
• Wednesday 08:30 – 18:00 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
• Thursday 10:00 – 17:00 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
• Friday 09:00 – 17:00 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
• Saturday 09:00 – 10:30

Responsibilities

• Assist the business in providing an efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service to customers.
• Provide support with the dispensing and labelling of prescription items.
• Receive prescriptions and hand out prescription items.
• Assist with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services is essential. Essential skills include:

• Planning
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
