Bus Driver (Eastbourne)

Key Details

• Hourly rate: £15.47 (annual £31,373 based on a 39‑hour week)
• Overtime optional; typically available for up to one day per week
• Shift pattern: 4–5 days per week (including early, middle, late shifts, weekends, bank holidays)

Location

Stagecoach Eastbourne Depot, Birch Road, Eastbourne, East Sussex, BN23 6PD.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Stagecoach fleet safely and efficiently
• Deliver high‑quality customer service to passengers of all ages and backgrounds
• Maintain a welcoming and respectful environment on the vehicle
• Ensure punctual adherence to timetables and safety regulations
• Assist passengers with questions and support requirements
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth operations

Requirements

• Minimum age 18 years
• Valid PCV licence
• Right to work in the UK
• Patient, courteous and safety‑first driving approach
• Positive, friendly attitude and passion for excellent customer service
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
