Overview
37.5 hours a week, working Monday to Friday 8:30am‑4:30pm or 9‑5pm with some occasional weekends on an ad‑hoc basis.
As a Primary Care Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will provide clinical leadership and management to the registered nurses and care teams, deputise on behalf of the Deputy/Head of Healthcare when required, and work closely with partners to maintain a robust, high‑quality clinical service for patients.

- Ensure that one’s clinical practice is consistent with autonomous practice within the role.
- Drive forward clinical projects.
- Model a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication and competence.
- Coach, line‑manage and develop clinician staff.
- Support and contribute in undertaking audits and governance.
- Contribute to developing and reviewing clinical/non‑clinical Local Operating Protocols for the site.
- Chair and facilitate specific healthcare meetings with the team and different partners.
- Provide clinical supervision (training available).
- Carry out investigations locally and for the wider region.
- Support career development opportunities through both internal and external development and learning options.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse Adult.
- Current professional qualification (NMC).
- Evidence of continued professional development.
- Experience of being a safeguarding lead – desirable but training can be offered.
- Understanding of the complexities of multi‑disciplinary and multi‑agency working.
- Existing clinical leadership experience / leading teams – essential.
- Experience in a hospital, community or prison environment is desirable.
- Experience in secure environments is desirable.

Salary
Full‑time: you’ll receive an annual salary up to £59,677 per annum FTE – depending on experience.
