Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Senior Training Analyst and analyse documentation and data from technical systems to deliver compliant training needs evaluations.
  • Conduct training analysis including examination of training needs, review of previous training and interview of subject‑matter experts to produce DSAT documentation for military training sites and organisations.
  • Analyse, capture and articulate training needs from new or changing requirements.
  • Inform on the optimum training solutions to meet the Authority’s requirements, balancing time, cost and quality, and define the solution at the appropriate level of detail to enable Training Design to commence.
  • Conduct DSAT Element1 (Analysis) and DSAT Design Stage1 to produce and update required outputs as outlined in JSP822 Defence Guidance for Training and Education.
  • Request and review existing training documentation and collate required data from SMEs.
  • Participate in internal workshops to discuss and agree findings from analysis and write reports on the findings.
  • Champion and foster a culture of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Core training analysis and evaluation processes.
  • Excellent communication skills at all organisational levels.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong IT knowledge.
  • Desirable: experience in development and delivery environments and contribution to the analysis of significant training courses, preferably within a Defence/DSAT environment.
