Job Summary
To take ownership for the delivery of a first‑class customer experience to all parties involved in the purchase of a new home from Taylor Wimpey and to ensure sales meet or exceed target while maximizing profit for the business.
Primary Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the development, all aspects of presentation and the entire purchase process.
- Act as the reference point for the purchaser, and all other internal and external parties from the first contact through to completion of the house sale.
- Promote and facilitate the use of company‑recommended mortgage brokers and solicitors to deliver an efficient service and meet purchasing deadlines.
- Ensure all administrative and reporting requirements are met according to company policies and agreed time frames.
- Conduct market research, price benchmarking, advertising, incentives, PR and related marketing events to provide the correct pipeline and fulfil agreed sales targets.
- Proactively search for target customers, create appointments and follow up leads to meet sales targets and maintain required customer satisfaction levels.
- Undertake inspections, introduce the customer to their new home, ensure familiarisation and provide after‑care at defined intervals following the move‑in date.
- Ensure the health and safety of customers, colleagues and other parties on site in accordance with legal requirements and company policy.
- Follow and adhere to company procedures, standards of performance and the business unit Sales Manual.
The role requires regular weekend and bank holiday working.
Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements
- Sales experience in the housing industry.
- High levels of self‑management.
- Exceptional customer service skills and sales excellence.
- Computer literacy.
- Full driving licence and ownership of a car.
