About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive and dynamic school in Rainham. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone confident in leading learning, covering classes, and supporting pupils across a range of abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Support teaching and learning across the classroom
• Lead small group interventions to raise attainment
• Work closely with teachers to plan and assess pupil progress
• Provide support for pupils with varying learning needs
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment

Requirements

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
• Proven experience working in a school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• Confident delivering lessons across different year groups
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and flexible approach
