Field Service Engineer (Hydraulics) – Maidstone

£40,000 – £65,000 OTE + Van + Fuel Card + Training. Local Kent Patch. Working from home and on the road, 8 am–5 pm, Monday to Friday.

Overview

We are looking for a Service Engineer with experience in hydraulics to cover a local patch carrying out installations, repairs and planned maintenance on tail‑lifts, shutter doors, and door curtains on commercial and passenger vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and plan maintenance procedures for tail‑lifts, shutter doors and door curtains.
• Fault find and collaborate with team members to diagnose and remedy faults.
• Work within the local patch, traveling to customer sites.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Full UK driving licence.
• Understanding of electro‑hydraulic systems and basic engineering principles.
• Experience repairing and servicing tail‑lifts or similar vehicle/mechanical systems.
• Manufacture Tail Lift Service and Weight Test Training Certificate 1 & 2, or equivalent to meet Service Regulations.
• Based in or around Kent.
