Workshop Mechanical Fitter
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent. Salary: £37,500 – £42,000 (depending on experience) + overtime (paid at time and a half / double time). Contract: Full-time, Permanent.
The Role
This is primarily a workshop-based position, focusing on the repair and maintenance of electro‑mechanical equipment. While the role is mainly in‑house, occasional site work will also be required.

- Fans
- Valves
- Shredders and augers
- Other mechanical assemblies
Experience working with similar equipment is highly desirable.
About You
- Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification (e.g. apprenticeship or equivalent accredited training)
- Have proven experience in mechanical fitting, ideally within a repair or service environment
- Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Be flexible to undertake occasional on‑site work
